Places I have travelled to, everyday objects, art & design history, situations and imagination all inspire my work.
I record daily ideas and thoughts in sketch and note form. I work quickly on multiple pieces. Anything can trigger an initial starting point from an object, a sketch or a memory.
As a working process I am driven by simplicity and spontaneity.
Since graduating from Central St Martins in 1998 and the Slade School of Fine Art in 2001, I work from my studio near Cambridge.
